These back panels are CLOSED. I bought these for my daughter because the regular friction backs kept coming loose. The post gauge is slightly thicker.

This is the same brand and brand as Sally Beauty. I am severely allergic to nickel and can only wear a few brands of earrings and have no pain wearing them. Love the color choices and the ability to mix and match with this choice. Highly recommended.

Good value for money. My ears are sensitive and don't irritate. However, it's extremely difficult to hit a butterfly's back with a needle unless you're using a piercing gun. I had to use a knife to make room on the back of the butterfly to fit the stand.

I bought these earrings for my daughters (5 and 9 years old) who got their ears pierced about 5 months ago. The earrings are beautiful but the stones are smaller than expected and I had trouble putting the backs on. Also, the bars themselves are thicker than the earrings they wear. Too fat for my youngest daughter to cover her ears without hurting her. I do not recommend buying them for newly pierced ears.
