I really like this set they are very smooth for the price. However, it is very good that it comes with 20 refills because there are no refills that you can buy separately and there is no information about the size of these cartridges to find compatible ones. I also noticed that most of the reviews are for crayons and don't give space to ask questions about the pens. So if you're really into calligraphy, find a pen that you can get accessories for.

The pencil bodies are uncolored wood and have a slightly textured finish (ie they don't feel super smooth and slippery like Crayola 24 Ct Colored Pencils, Assorted Colors).
