Works perfect! I'm glad I bought!

Cable installation without roof ducts. Make sure and check your local codes before using. I live in a rural area where there are no sanitation inspections. Some areas may not be permitted. I have two main vents in my attic. I've been using it for a year with no leakage problems.

Problem well solved for laboratory instruments and equipment

I have a customer who complained about the 'smell' of their main fresh air drain which was below their deck. I installed a water trap (with lots of gravel for drainage) around the vent tube and mounted this AAV in the tank so the tank screen would protect it from anything on it. Problem solved. No more fumes and the system is perfectly ventilated. Please note that this device requires a UV protection cap for outdoor installation.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Available in black only

Surprisingly, it has a rubber grommet attached that slips over a 3" pipe or inserts into a 4" pipe. Last year I raised another brand, when there was a lot of pressure, it smelled like petrol. And the other one broke and I couldn't get rid of the gas smell from the basement, it's sewer gas. I put it on yesterday, went down to the basement this morning, it smells fresh and clean, no sewer gas. I am very happy that this product is worth the money. I have attached a photo of Studor. but it doesn't…
