This is an excellent hat. The size on the large is plenty big for probably 7 1/2 or larger. I have a 23" head and needed to add a lot of adjusting tape. There's a drawstring included and some spacers but I prefer to use my own padded tape.I love the feather. I almost threw it out since I though the included envelope was empty.The hat did have a few tiny dents in the top and all but one relaxed out overnight. Exactly as ordered, not feminine, very average nuetral non eye catching hat. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted. A low key stingy brim with a low profile. I am thrilled with it's utter mastery of being an "average hat" 10/10 for price.

Very nice hat, that I get lots of compliments on. Like the style.It is a bit large though. Glad it came with inserts. May not cover ears adequately in windy weather!
