Subaru Oil Filter OEM

OEM quality perfect for your Subaru. What should we get in the US instead of the Fram Subaru of America oil filter? Much better quality.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Good product for Oil Filter

Good OEM filter for your Subaru. Better than the "Tall Boy" blue filters. The only problem was that my filter arrived with a very small dent on the top of the filter. No big deal.

Subaru WRX (VA) 2015+ OEM Filters

Exactly the same ones you will find in dealer service. I use this for a 2017 WRX oil change. This is an excellent quality filter. Installation is easy. The seal comes lubricated but I would add some more oil before installing. There are numbers on the body for reference when tightening by hand. Removal is also easy and leaves no mess. Highly recommended for VA WRX series.

  • Impressive
Cons

Unsurpassed original equipment manufacturer quality!

An OEM quality filter for your WRX! Came in a box to protect from damage! These filters seem to have gone up in price when you try to buy them in bulk at a bargain price. I was wondering if there were any aftermarket filters that might match these filter specs for the WRX, but there really weren't any. I found the OEM filter to have more pleats than the WIX WL10078. Not sure about the bypass rating for these specific OEM filters. I assume it's still 23 psi. As it is made by Tokyo Roki.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fits 2020 Ascent Oil Filters and Accessories

This is a high quality black filter from Tokyo Roki. Don't trust these FRAM OEM Subaru blue filters. If you're still under warranty, you can ask your dealer to replace the filters on that model and they'll only charge you the difference, less than $5. Get multiple drain plug gaskets from your dealer, then order multiples and do your own oil changes between drains without a drain for 6,000 miles to extend the life of your engine. Great for the 2020 Subaru Ascent 2.4L Turbo and yes it supports…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • I will add later

Don't let the size of this filter fool you, yes it is small but the number of pleats and filters beats most others. larger filters. This filter also has two characteristics that make it superior to most other filters. First, it has Subaru's recommended 23 psi bypass pressure. Find aftermarket filters that manufacturers say are compatible with your Subaru. Most have bypass pressures in the 8-11psi range, which is way too low, meaning you're running unfiltered oil through your engine in many…

  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

The only filter I would recommend for the FA20 DIT.

I really can't understand the bad reviews about a gasket not included with this filter - that's hardly a reason to downgrade the stars on the filter itself. The listing here does not include the seal that came with the filter. Come on guys, read the whole list before you get mad at him. Also, for those paying $6 for a gasket, do yourself a favor and go to a Subaru dealership and ask the clerk to buy you a pair, they don't cost $6 at the dealer. For those looking for feedback on the product…
