Problem solved! for water heater

This item was great for the price, should have been easy to install but the factory installers tightened the nut where it came loose to pull it out. After much tweaking I managed to replace it and the problem was fixed immediately. The price was great.

Works Good: Plumbing

After installing it, I let it run for about two hours and it didn't seem to work as well as the original. Since we thought he just needed to walk longer, we took him on a hike. We rode it a week in a row. On the first day of operation, when it was time to shower, the water was very hot. This item worked very well all week. I highly recommended this product.

Perfect fit for 2009 Forest River Shamrock

Replaced item in 2009 Forest River Shamrock with suburban water heater. Tank size not sure. The element was 2-3 inches longer than the one I took out, but I had enough room and never felt like it hit the other side of the tank. I haven't had a chance to try. I will update this review if performance issues are found.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Great replacement and easy install

The heating element in my new RV has failed. I ordered this as a replacement and it works great. I have a 12 gallon suburban gas/electric water heater for my 2020 Grand Design Solitude. Definitely recommend a full flush if you're looking to replace this item. You might as well turn off the electricity and water. You may need to purchase a larger outlet to remove the old element. Lowes offers them in the same way Revain does. Easy installation!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Great replacement for a broken heating element!

There are no instructions for this item but it's very easy to replace, watch a few youtube videos and you're done. This was pretty easy with the tool you can get here on Amazon, just use some teflon tape when making the swap. I installed this in a 6 gallon water heater and it was a direct replacement. It works great and I think it should work for a few years. Also, when doing this job, replace the anode rod as this will help keep the element in perfect shape. Happy camping!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Negative gift

Fits and works perfectly. Works as it should! Used with new ECO and Tstat and time damaged ECO/Tstat cover. If you have an onsite water heater, then this heater is for you. Universal fit for most Suburban heaters with 120 volt option. Before proceeding to any item, first check the ECO/Tstat limit switches to ensure continuity. In my case the heating element shorted out at the bend causing the bus breaker to trip at 20 amps and 120 volts before the ECO interconnect wire blew.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Functionality

worked great good for plumbing

occurred immediately. Some info on this item, I replaced an item in a 6 gallon water heater in my trailer. The photos I posted show the new and old elements and the rod I used to measure the depth of the water heater. As you can see the new element is longer than the old BUT the stem is dependent on the depth of the tank so the longer element in the tank is not an issue. I know there are many questions about the longer element, but the longer one works great. Also, a 1 1/2" THIN WALL outlet isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
