🚗 Street Guardian Suction Cup Mount for SGGCX2, SG9663DC, and SG9665GC V1/V2/V3/V4 Review

Very easy to install. I was concerned that the mount had come loose from the windshield, but it hasn't come loose since I installed it. I really like how easy this mount is to adjust.

It's easy to install but I found that in cold weather the suction cup tends to lose strength and falls off very easily, which is normal, but other than that it works Great.

Ideal for using the Street Guardian dash cam in rental cars. And if you're expecting it to be about the size of a traditional suction cup GPS mount, you'll be surprised at how small it is.

I bought a Street Guardian for a 2015 Toyota Prius. The windshield tilt was so great that the included "sticker" mount did not allow the camera to be installed to take pictures from the front. This mount separated the camera from the windshield and allowed it to operate properly.

I am very happy with the SG9665Gc road guard and have ordered 3 for all my vehicles in the last 18 months. I was on vacation and wanted to take a DVR with me. This suction cup mount has clocked up over 850 miles in a rental car. I watched the video when I got back, the picture was as stable as my fixed units. The suction is very reliable, the lever makes it easy to install.

Purchased for my Street Guardian DVR. I've had other GPS suction cups in the past and every once in a while they just fall and fly. It hasn't moved since it was installed in July. Haven't seen winter yet. I drive a Ford F 150, so tip. It has a Ford sticker placed behind the rearview mirror. Ideally I would mount my camera there, but the suction cup would not be attached to the sticker. Go straight to the window and you'll be fine.
