The defective product cannot keep the radar detector horizontal.

I purchased this windshield mount to replace my 5 year old mount which came with a standard sized radar detector. During the first 10 miles of use, the mount failed to hold the weight of my detector in a horizontal position, and after many attempts to adjust the hand-tight knob, just as I passed a small bump in the road, the mount failed to hold the device level. .I gave 1 star because the suction cup is great on the windshield, but maybe it wouldn't help if I could use it for more than a few…

Does not work well in hot climates like Texas

I used to buy a ChargerCity device for escort 9500 ix. It works great and I would give it 5 stars. Transparent suction cup. The ChargerCity block for Escort Max is a similar block type except that it comes with a black suction cup. My car is parked side by side, facing the sun. Broke after 3 months

Updated below: The spring has fallen out of the suction cup. I went to put it back in and found it was broken. Not sure how that is possible. The suction cup never left my windshield, the radar turned itself off every time I parked. It wasn't rough with it, it didn't move or vibrate during installation.
