Excellent sharpening tool for knives

This whetstone is a game changer for sharpening my kitchen knives. The fine grit creates an incredibly sharp edge, while the durable construction ensures this product will last a long time... The only downside IS that it does require some skill and practice to use effectively. Overall a great investment for any industrial and scientific setting..

Pros
  • Produces a sharp and polished edge on knives.
Cons
  • Requires soaking in water for 10-15 minutes before use.

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

In the photo (on the product page in -Market), you can see the nagura and the stand for the water stone, in the "Characteristics" tab - there is no information about the stand and the nagura! I wrote here to , they say, specify and in 2 weeks no answer, no hello (not on the product page - in the description and characteristics, not an e-mail)! They wrapped the branded packaging with some kind of non-transparent packaging and they say until you pay in cash at the point of issue of goods, see the

Pros
  • Plastic stand included. A suspension stone (nagura) in a separate package is also included. Sufficiently large dimensions of the water stone itself.
Cons
  • There are no inscriptions in 2022 on the branded packaging. Until you open firms. you will not see the packaging that the nagura is included. Packaging for nagura also without inscriptions in 2022. There is no instruction on how to use the stone and nagura.

The base is falling apart

Just unpacked the stone and found the base is not well bonded to the stone. Suehiro makes one of the best stones on the market and I bought it because it comes with a base and stone holder, but I think the stone falls off the base with the slightest pressure. Have never used it. i give it back

Pros
  • Soak type
Cons
  • High price
