Extra strong long stroke pressure as described. Just what we needed to open our 1929 handleless cabinet doors. The Home Depot/Lowe type didn't fit.

I have a cabinet with 4 large doors 24X84. This latch works great in this application. This gives the doors a very clean look with no stretch marks or handles. Be careful when ordering the correct color as this appears to be white by default.

The spring mechanism is enough to open the door, but the magnet is so weak it takes several clicks to close. And even then the magnet won't hold the door in place, it will open by itself. Not suitable for heavy doors.

We have full size doors with invisible hinges. This long throw latch can grab and open a full size door. Installation was pretty easy. The door frame didn't allow for four screws, but two screws would do.

We had doors that we couldn't open fully with magnetic latches. The problem was that the pistons didn't extend far enough to push the door back. These long-travel shutters were the perfect solution. With a longer extension, the doors open much wider and are easy to manipulate.

I bought this latch to use on a decent closet door (about 2 x 4ft) and it works perfectly. 1/8 inch on the latch itself and on the piece of metal that attaches to the door. I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had any problems with it.

The build quality of such a well known brand does not live up to expectations. This product is designed for use on heavy doors, however the steel hasp attached to the plastic strip is so thin that this product is unlikely to last long.
