Thread snaps and snaps easily

I have used this thread many times for DIY hole stitches on my [non-commercial] embroidery machine and I know what needles and stabilizer to use and at what speed; This is a totally unusual achievement for this product. The thread was often worn and broken, and during the operation of the machine it had to be carefully monitored. Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Only available in black

It does not stay wound on the spool and loosens until the thread is scattered everywhere and finally gets caught in the upper thread and the upper thread frays and breaks. Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing

But it's very smooth and has a surprising (well, to me anyway!) amount of shimmer for a fine thread. It pairs great with fabrics (Kaufman Sugar Plum Metallic Trees Mist) that have 'winter' colors (white, grey, teal etc. plus metallic silver stars/snowflakes) as they are still quite thin to mix with colors and silvery ones to mix metallic highlights.…
