Sullivans 39840 Heirloom Embroidery Scissors Review

I really like these scissors as they come in handy when I'm scared for a long time. They are sharp and the blades holding them are always within reach. They're a bit heavy, but if you're wearing a collared shirt you won't notice them at all. Bought a second set for a friend.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my best friend. She was happy to see it but when we took it out of the box we found the chain had broken. Seems like a part was missing. I see another review on the site with the same issue and am wondering if they just keep reselling the same broken shears or if this is a major malfunction. I will not replace him.

Both the scissors and their case are detailed and beautiful. Very high quality scissors. They are much smoother and sharper than your regular scissors (I believe that goes for all Sullivans scissors). Wearing it around my neck solved the problem of my scissors constantly getting lost in the cracks of my chair while I was embroidering. I bought this as a treat for myself but it would make the perfect gift for anyone interested in fiber art.

Very sad about this product. When the package arrived I was excited and couldn't wait to use these beautiful scissors. When I opened the box I found the chain had broken. In fact, it looked like an entire section had been ripped out or was missing. The sticker on the box said it was a new product. Disappointed but hopeful I sent them back and asked for a new pair.
