We bought this goal twice after several months of use on each goal, the clamping part broke. This very last gate stood 4.5 months and broke again. I do not recommend.

We use them outside on our patio. They are definitely outdoor-friendly and stand up to the weather well. They're a bit flimsy, but great for our purpose. Instead I would recommend a good metal gate if you are using it as the main gate in your home.

I ordered this gate because I liked the idea that it could be left with a bracket mounted so I could use it in multiple doors without worrying about leveling.Although the instructions say you can get an extra gear set, it's not available.So it's basically a waste for me.

I think it's my fault for not explaining this, but I was really annoyed that you have to put tape on it to use the swing door function :( I can still do that, but I was hoping that it would be a little easier, like a gate with a latch on top Pretty looser, I could have paid $4 more and gotten the gate the way I really wanted it.
