I really like the preheat option on the controller. Heating is very even. The only thing the seller doesn't show or tell you is the plug on the pillow itself. The instructions say to lay the rug on the bed label side up and then plug in the cord as shown in the picture of my own bed. Hmmm . the plug is a few centimeters above the edge of the top of the platform; right where my feet are when I go to bed. Because of this feature, I put my regular pad on top of the heated pad, but it doesn't help…

Purchased while visiting a relative's house in the mountains. We put them back when we get them and just leave them there, they're not intrusive. Often the house is 'closed' and empty when we arrive at night, meaning the ambient temperature is just above freezing. The ancient electric baseboard heater takes about 4-8 hours to make the place livable but we need to sleep. We tried heaters, but it was about as effective as blowing warm breath into the room. These mattress pads really saved the day

This is probably only the second or third time I've reviewed a product on Revain (I'm lazy) but I've had a very scary experience with this mattress topper. Tomorrow and I feel compelled to post it.
