Exactly what I was looking for

My new minivan has an Android Auto USB port in the bottom of the cargo area. Due to the angled connection, the USB cable protrudes over the garbage in the loading area and is really annoying. Also, with the cable protruding from the bottom of the phone, it was difficult to find a place to put the phone. The right angles of this cable fit the bill perfectly, and the short length is great for keeping it out of the way. I just received this so we'll have to see how well it holds up. If I run into…

Secure connection and save space

We really like these cables. Our car has room for cell phones, but it's not wide enough to fit a phone with a regular cord attached without turning the phone over and risking the switch being pushed into the cord and breaking it (this has happened many times and we destroyed a few cables in this way). So far, so good . . . Android Auto/Waze Use

Bought for the same reason as many others, for in car use. I want the USB plug to face the other way so the cable comes out the other way; This would force the cable to go straight from the jack to the slot my phone is in. Worked great with Android Auto and Waze until this worked. AA connected, turned on Waze and then just hung up.
