🚲 Sunlite 3 Sound Electric Horn: Enhance Safety and Alertness on the Road Review

Thank you for a product that warns others in noisy environments. I've tried other sound generating devices but people will still bump into my wheelchair, especially in crowded malls. With this new device, people are more aware of my presence. The only problem is the voice mode. The sound is blurry, static noise and high-pitched tones. However, this is a great product, I don't usually use voice mode, other sounds are more effective.

Sirens sound great. Good volume. The microphone volume is too low. I even made a change suggested by a reviewer - moved the negative 9v battery lead from one side of the speaker to the other side (towards the brown speaker wire) to improve volume. The sirens are louder, but the volume of the microphone is not sufficient. Now that I've modified it, it's "good enough" but still not as loud as the sirens. Still a fun toy, especially at such a low price.

Based on the reviews and the fact that this is a child's toy, I expected it to be as loud as the greeting cards you open and the siren goes off. To my surprise it was quite noisy. Please read how I found a way to fix scratchy microphone and scratchy sound. The battery pad wires may be a few inches longer as one of them broke trying to connect. A huge flood of memories from my 198x childhood when I had batteries in this thing! I had a model just like that, only the horn was white, not yellow.
