The second time one of them died quickly

I ordered one of these a few months ago for use in a little used light fixture in a guest bathroom. It blew up after just a few weeks (and probably very few hours of use). Recently ordered two more and one has already died; again after just a few hours or so. I will again use the brand I have bought in the past.

VERY misleading VERY YELLOW GLOW NO natural sunlight

This bulb was meant to be a "natural sunlight" bulb. I bought this to replace a more expensive Ott natural light bulb. That's SO FAR from Ott's color. Ott's natural sunlight is cold, yellowish-blue and better mimics sunlight. This lamp emits VERY YELLOW light and does not look like real sunlight. It's good for the price BUT I immediately ordered an OTT bulb to have a spare bulb on hand that IS natural sunlight. If you are looking for a good budget lamp for applications where color is not an…

Perfect temperature and brightness

I just got a pair of these so can't comment on durability but I give the product five stars for its color temperature and brightness. We ordered a beautiful modern square vanity mirror from Overstock, with built-in lighting behind frosted panels in the mirror. We first tried a couple of 55 watt bulbs which were WAY too bright and a very yellow tint - typical of old/cheap fluorescent bulbs.
