Dim dim dim suitable for bulbs

They are very weak compared to other bulbs I've bought with the same specs. Too weak Evan with three headlights on one lane.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Protective glass pops out after 10 minutes

As these bulbs heat up, the taped protective glass pops out. It's a bit scary when it happens. The lamp still works, but I think it's probably not safe.

Pros
  • MR16 headlight bulb produces a bright 3200K white focused beam
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Terrible Bulbs

I purchased this bulb to replace a blown bulb in a 24 volt track lighting system. Compared to two other 50 watt halogen bulbs I've used over the past two years that are still running side by side on the track with this new bulb, this bulb puts out about half the light. It's dimmer than any halogen light I've ever seen. I strongly recommend avoiding this particular bulb/brand.

Pros
  • This item is not sold in California
Cons
  • Damaged

Poor Brightness Good for Halogen

The box says "Not for sale in California" but it was shipped and paid for by a California resident. The reason may be poor quality control: the brightness emitted is closer to 10 watts than the 50 watts advertised on the lamps. Not happy at all.

Pros
  • This MR16 headlight bulb produces a bright 3200K bright white beam of focused light
Cons
  • Doubtful

Horrible Light Bulb

I bought this bulb to replace a burned out system in a 24 volt track light . Compared to two other 50 watt halogen bulbs I've been using for the past two years and still running side by side on the track with this new bulb, this bulb puts out about half the light. It's dimmer than any halogen light I've ever seen. I strongly recommend avoiding this particular bulb/brand.

Pros
  • Produces a 38° dimmable beam designed for use in enclosed 24 volt fixtures
Cons
  • So far so good
