Returned - not suitable for sport

It seems that the bearings are not lubricated - it turns with difficulty on the axle. I send them back without putting the bike on.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Updates

Perfect fit for our exercise bike

Perfect fit for our exercise bike. The SPD compatible side allows me to buckle in for interval training and the straps allow my wife to ride it for spinning and aerobic workouts. It's not very light, but it doesn't bother me when I'm stationary. Excellent!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I will write later

Great pedals for my peloton

Not sure why a review says they don't fit but these pedals are perfect for my peloton. They may have tried screwing it in the wrong way around (the left pedal is installed upside down). I made perfect use of my boots with SPD cleats. Other members of my family can use cages on the other side.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

They arrived on time and were very easy to install

Bought these to add to my home spinning so I can strap on SPD shoes and my husband can use the bike too can stirrup. I've used them almost every day for the last 60 days and the pedals are holding up well. The pedals engage smoothly and hold securely. They arrived on time and were very easy to assemble.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something else

Great for Spinbike

I bought these to replace the pedals on our Sunny Health and Fitness Indoor Bike. I really like that they have tow brackets on one side and regular clips on the other so we can use our bike with regular shoes or with our spinning shoes. They were a bit difficult to tighten on the crank, but that could be due to the narrow hole in the crank. We use them several times a week and they work great.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent pedals for pedals

Bought for my peloton. I already have SPD boots and my boyfriend doesn't wear cycling shoes, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money to buy Peloton cycling shoes. The Peloton assemblers installed the pedals for me, but they seem easy to put on. They are perfect for our needs. I can buckle up my bike and my friend can just put his sneakers on from the side of the cage. After almost 2 months of use there were no problems.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Without gift

I think it's ok, but ball bearings are insanely rough.

If these were the only SPD/cage pedal clip pedals in the world I would use them and I think they are "good". They are solid and the SPD clips fully snap and disengage from my spikes and although the plastic toe clips arrived bent (they do come in a small box after all) I'm sure they'll fit back into theirs after a few uses return to normal shape and work great sneakers. The problem is the ball bearings. Or maybe I should say "ball bearings". I have NEVER had the feeling that new pedals rotate…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
