I am very satisfied with this tile. They connected easily with some pressure from a rubber mallet. Can of soda in the photo for scale. To remove unwanted protrusions I used a sharp chisel and rubber mallet. They popped out right after 5 or 6 light hits. The tongues are made of hard plastic, not rubbery material.
