First the container we received was opened and the product leaked in the box but they immediately sent me a replacement. Second, I was very happy to try it. the product is out. It didn't disappoint. The old paint came off like butter. The smell feels bad since I did the project indoors. Light sand and it was ready for a new coat of paint. I had about 10 coats of paint/stain on the chair. I applied this product with a brush and it lasted the first 4 coats of what I consider to be water based paint. The next layer was a stain and it didn't do anything. I sanded the stain and applied some more of this product. Again nothing. Maybe because the next layers were oil based. I then went to my local gear and bought what they recommended (about half the price) and they took it off right away. So if you don't have water-based paint, don't.

This is an intermediate paint remover, which I think is to be expected from a non-corrosive product. My problem is false advertising. I did it exactly as directed and left the product on for the maximum time and it only removed one coat of paint. Removed two coats of tough elbow grease with a damp deck brush. I recommend a few things: 1.) do it on the street. It stinks. 2.) Leave it for a full 24 hours. 3.) COVER it. I used a deck brush and then a cleaning rag. 4.) It REALLY went through a pair
