Inexpensive and well designed

This is a beautiful and comfortable tripod. For standard use with medium and light cameras. Nothing rattles on the supports and hinges. Well designed. Good overall growth too. Raise the camera nicely. Light weight for a trolley and very quick to use. Everything is solid. A good tripod to throw in the car or pull out of your backpack to take pictures. Sunpak tripod 620-060

I've read a million reviews and almost all said you pay what you get. Therefore, choosing a tripod was a big problem. I didn't have much money, but I didn't want to buy a tripod with a toothpick. The one I wanted didn't come free so I looked for tripods that came with it. I considered all the reviews of various tripods and I am very happy with this tripod. it feels solid when it's on. Okay, but the legs are wobbly and setting it up is a very easy task.

Updated: 03-2010 Still works well. When I tore my Achilles tendon, I leaned on it like a stick to help myself get up while I organized my clothes in the closet. This is a very easy mode of operation (rather cheap), but if you work carefully with it, it's easy and works well. When I took the device out of the box I was amazed by its features, but I was put off by the way each joint of the leg flexes and moves. It was really cheap.
