I don't know why there are complaints. Itchy? Yes, it's fiberglass! Disappears? Any film is suitable as long as it is not sealed and retouched from time to time. Has the heating failed? This is one of the easiest to install slides I have ever worked with. You can easily apply the required tightening torque to any tangent of your coils and this ensures a tight enough wrap to add to their durability. It also doesn't carry nearly as much as others I've used. I soaked the packaging for thirty minutes, emptied the bucket (which btw didn't bleed at all as happened to someone else), then started over the end of my pipe (removed) and worked forward.
