Attention can suck small fish! Very powerful

Be careful with small fish, I had to take them out of the tank for fear that one of my fish would get sucked into the wave generator. Otherwise this might work if you have big fish and a big tank. I didn't send it back so now I'm stuck and feel like I wasted my money on something I wanted so badly to use in my tank.

  • Not only fit for purpose

But overall great.

I bought this to navigate the water in a 40g turtle tank. The reptile waterfall filter did not generate sufficient water flow. This pressure creates a large flow (allowing the filter to clean the water better). In general I am satisfied, but there are two disadvantages: 1. Loud rumble. This thing hums with Power.2. The cell around him is not very good. The gaps are big enough to suck in and kill small fish. I lost some pink and red minnow food because of this mini grill (he slices, dices).

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Fantasy all around!

I love these powerheads. I was skeptical due to the price and have yet to see how long they last but from someone who has owned both Fluval and Hydror shaft generators the quality is there. It feels very well built and HOLY SHIT with power! I assumed the gph was a little high but if something isn't rated highly enough. this thing is leaking! I have 2 Fluval cp3 waveguides that I have ported to other tanks and these things produce more than they do and they are rated at 800 gph. I highly…

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • makes angry

800 gph perfect - fish and aquatic animals

Amazing. I have a 100 gallon tank and this thing keeps strong, healthy currants in the tank. The suction cup is good when used properly. I read reviews that it was too open in the front. If your little fish can't handle the 800 gallon per hour flow, they won't even get in. The only drawback for me was the length of the cable. Besides that, I think it's great and I can only recommend it. Update: 8 months later the sucker gave up. I've only moved it 4 times since I bought it about 8 months ago…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • So so

Great head for the price

wow! You will definitely get your money's worth. I bought this to replace a broken Hydor Koralia 850 gph I bought 6 years ago for $42. I still have a Hydor 850 in my 75g saltwater aquarium. Install a SunSun powerhead to complement the Hydor and it expresses a lot more than the Hydor and upwards of 793 per hour, probably closer to 1000. When I first installed the powerhead it created whirlpools on the surface. Very powerful! I moved it down another inch, aimed it a little closer to the surface…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Can I add something

Maybe more than expected.

It turned out to be too strong for my 55 gallon tanks. I don't like coming home from work to see the sand being blown aside and every piece of coral being blown off the rocks. Similarly, in my planted tanks, I've found the plants to literally lie on the side of this thing. Don't worry if your jet boat outboard motor broke down. Just buy two of these and hang them on the back of the boat. I really wouldn't put that much flow in a sub-100 gallon tank. The Achilles heel of this fan is the suction…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
