OK, these are pretty to look at but as one reviewer said, why does the manufacturer state they're for temporary installation (90 days) only? Also, I'm not sure where the "shatterproof" claim comes from. The bulbs are glass and do shatter just like any other light bulb, so be careful when handling them. Mine were installed on a covered patio so I had no issues about their ability to work in any kind of weather. 3 stars. My next set will be a bit more robust and plastic bulbs.

Bought these lights because I wanted a different look from the normal bistro lights, plus I couldn’t stand the weight of the bistro lights causing a sag and wanted a lighter option. Just installed, and let me tell you they look great. I used a string light hanging kit from Lowes, and installed these on the cable from the hook of the bulbs. It’s a clean look. The box says the lights are dimmable but when I got it I saw they are only dimmer compatible, you will need to buy a desperate dimmer plug for it to work. A little disappointed with that but oh well. The lights feel very light weight so I’m worried about how durable they will be but the box says they are shatter proof so we will just have to wait and see how long they last.

Had issues with my first set, but the vendor was very responsive and had a replacement within a day or 2. Took one star away because the bulbs are way too fragile.

We used this lights for my cousins proposal, they were the perfect final touch, looks really pretty and it’s actually durable

The picture isn't great but I absolutely love these lights! They do come without the bulbs screwed in, which for us actually worked out great! We were able to hang them without worrying about breaking any and then screwed them all in once we were done! I also loved the different size options. I purchased the 96ft strand, which came all in one strand and worked amazing for my area! I highly recommend these!

These are perfect for our backyard fence! Beautiful glow and love they are in breakable plastic and the price is fantastic!

I like these lights because their really bright white. I don't really like yellow tinged lights. Initially my review said this and added that one of the bulbs flickered. Vendor contacted me and sent replacement bulbs. I bought a larger set afterwards.

If you looking for solar this is not it. This is an outdoor set , with a plug.It lights up the side of my home….( tree area side) , like Christmas.My neighbors ask about them often. They’re very " old English " looking bulbs.The replacements, which as of the day of this review, I have not had to replace, are inexpensive.I’ve purchased them twice.You won’t be disappointed.

I use them to string on the bottom of my motor home slide for outdoor lighting on my patio area and they work great. Just use notebook clips to hang.

If you are looking for lights to give your pool or patio a nice atmosphere, these are the right lights.A nice warm light, but not too bright, and the bulbs look like glass but are plastic, so less worry about breaking.2 bulbs didn't light when we put them up (but we did drop the string once or twice in the process of hanging) but replacement bulbs are available.

The review process mentions remote control. There was none and I did not expect one. The light works well. An extra bulb was included.

These lights look great on my porch. The bulbs do not evenly distribute light. There is a clip on the back of each light that allows you to attach it. Perfect!

They may not be super bright but they sure set a nice atmosphere. Plus: lower lumens = fewer mosquitoes. That's my feedback!

They’re so bright. Not the ambiance I was going for. Wanted the relaxing feel and went with these based on the photos but these are brighter than the recessed lighting on the porch.

Being so inexpensive I was worried about buying these lights, but I did anyway. (4 sets) I am glad to report they work perfect for my project. They are light weight (thinner wire and plastic bulbs) and super easy to hang across the ceiling as we did. All 4 sets worked and there is a spare bulb with each set. I like the plastic bulbs because being inside a classroom we don't have to worry about broken glass. Can't say how they will hold up outside, but Yes, I would recommend for inside.

Contrary to the description, the bulbs that come with this are NOT plastic/shatterproof. They are glass bulbs and quite fragile. The lights are great for outdoor/patio lighting, but if the shatterproof bulbs are a major part of your decision, these are not your lights.

The lights themself are beautiful, however during install they came down and 4 bulbs shattered near our pool. So after about 3 hours we got the shards of glass out of pool and the lights up.

I was worried the lights were too far apart for the effect I was going for, but they’re perfect. I have them hanging around the perimeter around our new deck and we love them!
