Lightning gets stuck in the corners. It makes me crazy. If the flash didn't get stuck all the time I might give these at least 4 stars. They're nice and roomy and won't crush your glasses. The inner lining is fine and does not scratch. BUT LIGHTNING IS TERRIBLE

I didn't want a hard case, but I wanted protection. These cases are ideal. Someone commented on the smell. I had an odor but it went away after 1 day. Great product, great price.

I wasn't sure what "hard" meant. Hard enough to sit? No, it's better to keep it away from below. Call it tough. Another reviewer bitterly complained that the zipper got caught in the corners. patience is your friend Gently drag the slider back and forth around the corner a few times and it will become smoother. I bought this for my daughter because she was a bit scared of the "snap" models. It still offers a hard shell so the glasses don't get crushed when transporting them to and from school, and also has a handy clip to attach them to your backpack.
