Easy on and off, what better way to take care of a toddler? go to the park or playground. Not for playing football or similar, as this can quickly wear out the fabric of the shoe. For leisurely walks or playing in the playground (swings, slides, jigsaw, etc.) these are great shoes. Also, it is true to size, so no matter your child's foot size, if you choose that size for this shoe, it will fit perfectly.

I give these 3 stars. They get 3 stars for their good fit, they're a bit wider to accommodate my son's "Flintstone feet", they're easy to put on and take off, and the adjustable strap keeps them in place. Why give 2 stars? Because they fell apart after about 2.5 weeks of regular use. And by disintegrated I mean the forefoot that has separated from the toe box and the protruding outsole pieces. Even with the drawstring at the back, this shoe is too big and chunky for our little one which I think can make him fall easier. They don't sell half sizes which I would choose. So I went for the larger size. We stayed at the hotel with the water park for two nights and when our son woke up on the third day he couldn't step on his left foot. We eventually determined that it was his left ankle/foot that was injured. First I thought it was the right knee, then the left. He couldn't walk for days.

Very happy with these shoes. I originally bought a size 7 for my 1.5 year old but it turned out to be too big so I ended up buying a 6 but kept the 7 because we can wear it next year. In the photo with the two soles facing each other, the left side is a size 6 and the right side is a size 7.
