🌡️ Supco L290 Switch Thermostat 610025: Reliable Temperature Control for Optimal Performance Review

I bought this to replace a broken sensor on a Lopi fireplace insert. My insert kept shutting itself off randomly for a while and I eventually traced the problem to a limit switch near the outlet. This switch was a direct replacement and my insert now works like new.

We have replaced the #60T11 limit switch in a Rheem heater that is over 50 years old. We couldn't find exact numbers, but we saw 60T11 on it. All the numbers didn't match exactly - this new switch has different temperature limits, actually slightly higher than the old one and more efficient. Fits right - works great.

My shop heater died. Upon inspection I found partially melted wires leading to the limit switch. I had to do some internet research to figure this all out as I'm not an electrician or electronics expert. Rolled the dice and ordered this switch as it appeared to be interchangeable with the original. Swapped and connected a few cables. bam! Works like new. Save me $$$ to get it somewhere (I have no idea where) or just buy a new block.
