Great product! Place the bag next to the water bottle for comparison. Comes pretty flat but takes up space with a little fluff. When removing smaller pieces from the bag, do so over the bin as there are many very small streaks. Some parts are just flimsy wires, but mixed up with others you really can't tell them apart. Worked fabulous for my juicy emails!

favorite moss I've ever used for planting. Will definitely order more in the future if needed. The brown color goes very well with pots and baskets. Best of all and the reason for the 5 stars is its high quality with an almost "stretchy" feel so you spread it at the base of the plant stems, it doesn't pull on them nor stretch. does not crumble into thousands of dusty pieces like some other moss. Install completely clean. I only used a third of the bag between two large (14-20" diameter) pots.

I bought this in black to use for a specific craft project. The price was right when I bought it ($5.99) but after I received it and took the moss out of the bag, MY HANDS WERE BLACK. It was real PEET that had to be washed away. Whatever they used to color this stuff left a greasy residue, so I highly recommend wearing gloves when purchasing this stuff. This material was perfect for our purpose! And you get A LOT - way better than buying a few small bags at a craft store. We used it to fill flower boxes for manzanite branch centerpieces at our wedding. This stuff really helped - it almost looked like grass :) It's colored - it's usually light brown, not so light green. When I took it apart and used it, my fingers turned a little green.
