I have bought them several times for different purposes. Ordered 3 recently, one for use in 2 projects, only to install one and after about 5 minutes of use about 70% of the LEDs are burned out. I checked all the connections and couldn't get the strip to light up fully again, so I decided to use one of my spares. So overall hit and miss. One of my other bands is a year old and still working fine.

I installed them above the helm on my boat. I trimmed them to fit the space and installed them on a dimmer I bought separately and I couldn't be happier. I had a little trouble getting the glue to stick in a couple of spots, but then again I didn't clean the surface very well before applying. my night vision. I like to give things some time to show wear and tear before writing reviews. Now I can say I am very dissatisfied with these lights after going through two sets of these lamps very quickly. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone for use on boats. After repeated wetting, the strip begins to soften and eventually releases without tension or pressure. Very bright lights. Installed in my boat duck for night walks. I used the extra double 3M tape after reading other reviews. However, the standard glue turned out to be pretty good, so I think I could do without it. Great product apart from 0 goals.
