These are 3 packs and they are matte. I applied the first one wrong and willy-nilly and got BIG blisters and lots of small ones, I applied the second one following the instructions on the back and got small blisters but that's the best I have get i think. I bought these for my 8th gen iPad. So just follow the instructions as best you can

I put many screen protectors. I can't get the blisters out. I followed the instructions exactly. I also tried reading the instructions on the company's website. After failing the first try, I opened a second shield to see if it could be better. Failed! Especially bad in the corners. Perhaps the shields have gone bad due to the extreme heat we are experiencing right now. But I brought them in within minutes of delivery.

I had a hard time following the installation method but maybe my brain isn't smart enough to watch them peel off half and stick half and then remove the rest using the method they recommended. I had to remove the entire case, hold it by the sides, and insert the home button and camera first before flipping it open. I only ever buy Supershieldz matte screen protectors. I use their products for all my devices and they are the best. I've tried other brands and the matte feel was sticky or prevented me from using my devices so my finger doesn't get caught anywhere, it's like using regular clear protection. I could not install all three protectors that came with it. It just couldn't get rid of every speck of dust, unlike the "expensive brand" that I installed perfectly on the first try on another iPad. I was able to apply this successfully and had no blisters! I initially moved the protector and had to remove and reapply the application. It worked very well! I made several attempts to ensure I got the screen aligned correctly. That was the hardest part. Between each attempt, I made sure there were no dust particles on the screen. Every time I see a speck of dust, I wipe it off with the cloth that came with it. A good tip that has worked well for me was to use my phone's flash while doing this
