Connectors crimp well

I was concerned they would be junk as they are made in China. I ordered anyway because the price was good and I ran out. Tested with 20G stranded wire using Astro 9477 crimping tool / insulated ferrules. Crimp looks great. Did a pull test (grabbed with both hands and pulled hard) - no problem, I'm turning blue and yellow now after testing them. Austin, Texas

Pros
  • Heavy duty crimp terminals are the best tin plated copper shells guaranteed to hold 22-18 AWG wire securely
Cons
  • No performance

Absolutely useless splice

While they *might* be useful, they are definitely not meant to be. Solder seal connectors are designed to work seamlessly, with the solder melting and the ends shrinking from the heat. The problem with this is that the solder NEVER melts and you will melt the insulation on the wire, the actual heat shrink tubing and whatever is underneath as it all liquefies and falls to the surface underneath. DO NOT buy them unless you are creatively punishing one of your employees who has to melt hot, runny…

Pros
  • Easy to use - crimp and heat, then connect the wire.
Cons
  • Dear Sir or Madam,
