This is a great item for its purpose; However, the dimensions are small. I ordered medium and it was small and tight. So if you are considering ordering it, try one size up than usual for a better and more comfortable fit. I still have the ones I ordered and I never returned them because they fit my wife perfectly; However, I haven't ordered one for myself yet.

If you are not straight as a board from waist to buttocks, your waist measurement for sizing is not accurate. Management shouldn't say "waist". It should be called "abdomen" like in the tutorial video, since these are two completely different body sizes for most people. I'm fairly skinny with a 31" waist, but the small size barely reached the Velcro, which was supposed to leave inches of wiggle room. I guess I'll give it a try on Wednesday and then come back to adjust my rating.

Straps don't dig into skin like rubber bands but have a stretchy effect that helps hold shoulders back. I bought 5 back braces to help me study longer.
