Easy installation and good value for money. Easily holding the large hood of my F-150. Hopefully this set will last for many years.

GOT IT! for spare parts

I don't understand why anyone would buy them elsewhere. Save $40-50 on what auto parts stores want. 5 minutes to install. Now we'll have to see how long they last and won't hesitate to buy again.

Doesn't quite fit in lifting legs

Looks like a good product, arrived quickly and on time, was packaged well too. But none of that matters as the description says it fits 04 f150 exactly, which it doesn't. They are about 2 cm shorter.

Still survived the midwest winter

Bought these to replace the stock struts on my 2000 F150 that was failing to hold the hood up a few months ago. They fit just like the OEM racks, look great and work fantastic. Even when I had quite a thick layer of snow and ice on my hood, they were able to open it and stay upright without leaking. We had sub-zero temperatures and pretty strong winds for several days and they worked perfectly. Would definitely buy again!
