My chicks love it!

Can't comment on the taste as I've never tried them but judging by the way my chickens chase them the taste must be very good! I would say the same about the freshness! If you like them, I'm happy.

Pros
  • Promotes feather health. Each pouch is not only a delicious source of protein for birds, but also packed with fiber, amino acids and essential fats for bright and shiny feathers. Your birds will love these chick treats!
Cons
  • Not the best

Phenomenal! - Poultry

My ducks and chickens LOVE these fly larvae! Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed that they did indeed contain substance and weren't all ground up like the mealworms I'd used before. Immediately after opening the small box I ordered to see how they are I switched the subscription and savings to a Β£5.5 box of this brand. My chickens and ducks have been thanking me ever since!

Pros
  • Easy to store chicken feed - Our plump, dried fly larvae are stored in a resealable bag in a sturdy box, keeping them fresh and clean when handled. Just reach out and grab a handful of chicken treats to improve your bird's daily diet.
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Chickens seem to like them

I tried another brand but they were flat, dark and my chickens didn't seem to mistake them for food. They love mealworms so I decided to give them a try as they are said to have more calcium and look like large mealworms. It's good that chickens eat them. They still prefer mealworms, but they're cheaper than what I can buy locally. But they will eat them sooner than granola, unlike the other brand which they completely ignored.

Pros
  • Provides immune and gut support. Feeding these probiotic-rich, lauric acid-rich bird treats to your birds will help boost your flock's immune and digestive systems.
Cons
  • Not sure
