not quite hot glue

Glue used to attach the hook and loop portion of the hook to the grinding wheel. The piece did not stick after about 30 seconds of use. The grinding tool became very hot and the sandpaper and hook separated. For applications other than high temperatures, I expect glue to be more than adequate.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Frequency

Great for aluminium.

The fridge had an aluminum door shelf that kept popping out of the plastic coated doors. Using a 10-inch all-purpose glue stick, he slid over the aluminum pan like butter on a hot skillet. Switched to Best Stik and voila! The problem is solved. The difference is in how the glue adheres to the aluminum.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Great glue, Batman!

You are amazing. My hot glue gun eats them up quickly, but they're great. Not sure if it's gun or glue, but even after leaving it on for almost an hour there was no dripping or pre-drip. The refractive index of the dried glue is slightly different than the silicone coating on my LED strip, but it's a good coating for soldering a pixel onto a longer strip. As it cures slowly, it also retains good clarity. If you blow on it to heal faster, it will become cloudier.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Short guide

hold my led lights!

This actually holds my LED lights where the regular multipurpose hot glue of the same brand fails. It takes a little longer to heat up. much longer. but when my trusty hot glue gun finally heated it up, it stayed. The last time I did this with all-purpose hot glue, the LEDs stayed on for a while and then slowly, over several days, sagged. I had LED lights mounted vertically under a tree so they hung. Slow heating eventually warmed it up and the adhesive became ductile. But not with this thingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to apply glue, turns cloudy white after drying
Cons
  • So far so good

Ideal for all applications.

This hot glue is the best all-purpose glue stick I've tried. The glue creates a very strong bond with whatever I threw at it. What makes hot glue so popular is its ability to bond a variety of materials together. Leather and glass, metal and wood, you name it. This surebonder works better than any brand I've used in the past. I have often used amber sticks which are more suitable for woodworking, they are very strong and expensive. The problem is that if you need a different type of glue, youโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent adhesion to hard-to-stick surfaces
Cons
  • Not as thick as other glues

Very good glue but be careful if you have a regular glue gun that is not 100w. This glue is a high temperature glue and while you can melt it with lower temperature guns, it doesn't get hot enough to perform at its best. I used this glue with a 100w SureBonder pro2-100 gun. I called this gun a really great gun, and not just because it's 100 watts. The first thing I glued with this glue was the dust filter on my big Shopvac. The filter starts to fall apart and it's not a part that should fallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Non automatic
