Inferior quality!

Very disappointed with this product. I used a needle gently for a little over an hour and the gold was completely worn away and the eye of the needle was bent. I've been using the same needle from a different brand for over a year with no problems. I wanted to try the gold plated needle after hearing the recommendations and trying the needle that belonged to a friend and I liked it. I will definitely never buy an anchor needle again.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • old

GREAT product! Buy this instead of DMC!

I bought this because the brand is respected and rightly so. They are very comfortable to use and of high quality. I also chose this brand because my DMC needles broke below the eye after very little use. THREE of these in packs of 6. I was NOT expecting such poor quality from them and I am VERY glad I bought these gold anchor pins. They will obviously last a long time. I love it!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The needles are broken!

I bought them for Christmas. I've been sewing cross stitch for about 20 years, so I have experience with a lot of needles. This is the worst thing I've ever used. Within two days, two of the four needles broke. With very moderate use (on the same project I used these needles on, I've used other brands of needles for over a year with no problems). I won't say I've never broken needles before, but when I have, it's always been used and worn needles. I've never broken a brand new needle. And when…

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Disappear
