FITMENT: All makes and models with a single 9/16" axle pin hole and 2.5" leafs that require square 12.5" extra-long clamp; Does not fit 4WD 3.5" Axle trucks. CONTENTS: 2x 1.5" lift blocks with 4 OEM grade steel square bend u-bolts, hi-nuts and security spring washers. TECHNICAL NOTES: Install the tallest ends of tapered rear blocks to the rear of the vehicle; Retighten u-bolts after the first 500 miles. BENEFITS: American Automotive solid cast iron lift blocks are stronger than aluminum and cast as a single, more stable construction than blocks with pressed pins. They are designed to increase rear load and towing capacity. American blocks absorb noise and vibrations, and are tapered for perfect pinion alignment. Made for maximum u bolt clamp force with an even distribution of pressure, American axle u bolts eliminate flexing and provide the strength to maintain original vehicle handling. NOTE: Please verify the width of your u bolt before purchasing this kit.

Wrong width U-bolts

I ordered this for my 92 K1500 and the units worked great, but the U-bolts that came with it were the wrong size, they were too wide. I ended up having to buy some screws from a parts store that cost the same to put the truck back together.

Easy to install, plenty of room on the bolt to maneuver.

I was able to assemble both sides in about an hour. easy to install. Also, the bolts were long enough for me to easily put nuts on them. The screws are finely threaded, making them stronger and less likely to come loose. The instructions were clear.

but i deducted a few points because after 2-3 weeks on the u-bolts rusted horribly and the block too

i gave it three stars because it fits but i deducted a few points, who park after 2-3 weeks, the ladders were terribly rusted, the block too. I was expecting a slightly better ending than this. I'm afraid I'll have to replace the U-bolts sooner or later.

Super quality, little assembly effort.

These lift blocks are a perfect match for my 2003 Nissan Frontier. A note: you will need to factory drill holes in the spring seat as the U-bolts that come with this kit are significantly thicker and hopefully stronger. The only complaint is that the U-bolts that came with the kit were at least 2 inches too long and definitely needed to be cut or they would definitely snag on the rocks in some scenarios. All in all a good kit that didn't affect the ride or handling in any way.

American Automotive gets six stars

I liked it but couldn't use it. Although I sent them back because the U-bolts were larger than stock bolts and would not fit without modifying my floor pans, the quality was excellent. The U-bolts have been plated rather than powder coated and are made from high quality steel. The nuts and washers were heavy duty construction and the cast iron blocks were cast iron. Nothing spectacular, but they turned out to be quite durable. If I could give American Automotive stars, they would get six. Iโ€ฆ
