Suspenz Easy Kayak Rack Review

I bought two pairs to hang two kayaks on 4" x 4" racks outside on the river. They seem pretty sturdy and hold the kayaks tight. They were easy to install. I pre-soaped the screws and drilled the holes. I had no trouble removing the heads. I've only had them for a few weeks so can't comment on how well they're holding up in the elements. But judging by the looks, I think they will succeed. I recommend these kayak racks!

We received another kayak that didn't have room on the ceiling for the winches we normally use. We researched various wall mounts and decided on this one. WOW! That's great. It was very easy to install and very durable. Unlike some others, it has a pair of screws in a vertical line, each fitting into a stud in the center. Also a very nice feature is the strap that keeps Kayla in place. The rack is also very easy to install, taking less than 10 minutes.

Great product. I attached the manhole to the cinder block wall with 1/4" x 2 1/2" screws. I installed it at waist level, making sure the faucet bolts went into the side of the block for added strength. This is a convenient working height for adding accessories or cleaning the kayak. Love these racks. I spent several months researching how to store my kayak. Finally decided to buy a shelf on the wall. They looked amazing and I'm so glad I chose them. This luggage rack is robust and does the job perfectly. The screws that come with it are terrible. They undressed immediately and didn't even reach the stud because they undressed so quickly. I had to order a special tool to undo the stripped screw. After all the screws were removed with the panel removed I bought some screws and they worked great. Excellent support posts. I have a fairly large fishing kayak (11.5 feet long, 36 inches wide and maybe 13 inches high) and they support it well. I placed them closer to the center of the kayak because I've read that most of the weight is in the center on these kayaks, so it's important to keep it as close to the center as possible. I bought these (two pairs) to store two 13ft Boreal Designs Okkpik kayaks against my garage wall. They are extremely durable and are perfect for our kayaks. The bottom of the kayak rests on the rear soft tissue and the edge will rest somewhere on the front soft tissue depending on the geometry of the kayak.
