A decent look for the money. It's a bit difficult to focus at higher magnifications, but let's do it with lots of light. In general, the purchase is satisfied.

I wanted an ED spotting scope for wildlife viewing but didn't want to pay for something like Swarovski as it was intended for occasional use. I also wanted a tilting scope. The dual focus wheel, the large wide angle lens that brings in a lot of light and the zoom range made me very happy with my purchase. In addition, excellent processing quality. This is a great scope, not to mention the price.

Tried this brand on recommendation from a friend of mine who had spent over £10,000 on all his glass over the last ten years after looking through spotting scopes from either of these brands at a shooting range. . Said he wished he knew about it sooner because it would save him thousands of dollars. So far I agree with his assessment after comparing this to his 3k scope when spotting deer. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this scope when matched!

Oscilloscope control for power and parallax adjustment is excellent. At low to medium power, brightness and clarity are excellent. As with many mid-range riflescopes, the sharpness decreases with increasing power. This isn't a bad thing by any means, but your eye needs to be in the center of the scope at maximum magnification or you'll lose the image. Wow. Just got home from a short birding trip to test out this new scope. This is my first scope but I have had the pleasure of using others including the Vortex scope and the Swarovski gold standard. This scope doesn't cost $2500 Swarovski and that's totally fine! This is an incredibly sharp sight with low chromatic aberration. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement.
