I will be using this scope for hunting and bird watching. I chose it over other alternatives because of the price and features. Like all spotting scopes in this price range, Made in China. However, it seems to be very well made, with one exception (more on that later). The glass is good and I assume at least part of the glass is ED as advertised. The color is good, the vision works well in low light. As with all scopes, image quality decreases with magnification, but not by much. The eyepiece size ranges from 22mm to 25mm, which is a bit smaller but again standard for this price point. A larger eyepiece would have made it easier to see at higher magnifications. My only concern is that I can't get the detachable eyepiece to stop sliding because the magnification is adjustable no matter how tight I tighten the locking ring. Another consideration is that support for this area appears to be somewhat limited. But again, the price is significantly lower than oscilloscopes with better support and warranty.
