🔧 Swanson Tool TL002M Magnetic Torpedo Level Review

This is a level, I use magnets in it for work. Perfect. Nothing is uneven in my life anymore. I finally have balance and focus.

I needed one of these to line up my new dishwasher installation. It worked great. What else can you say here? This is a 9 inch base magnetic spirit level. The color is great too!

This is a good product that I can't think of to improve, hence the 5 stars. This is what I carry in my tool bag so I use it often as I always have it. I also drop it constantly and it holds up well.

Aluminum body is strong, won't twist or bend like cheaper levels. The magnets are of good quality. What I like most about this level is that it looks so boring that it won't be stolen if you're not watching. I had expensive small levels and they were stolen.

The spirit level works great (I'm pretty sure it's hard to screw up) but the magnets are weak. I bought this to create a custom exhaust and when I put it on the pipe under the vehicle it falls off as the pipe moves. They just don't hold up well enough. Buyer Warning. If your materials are vibrating or moving, they won't get stuck.

If you zoom in it would shake. Looks sturdy and sturdy, so +1, but the non-magnetic side will wiggle on any surface it stands on, even drywall. You can't build rocket ships here, but you can't check squareness with bad surface flatness. Epic with a torpedo level. Very sensitive bubbles at this level; The liquid used must have a lower viscosity because the bubble moves quickly when micro-adjusting. It can be a bit of a chore trying to get it "right", but I also don't have to wait for my slower level bubbles to settle into place. The magnets are strong enough to use a spirit level and adjust with a hammer and it won't fall off. Exactly what I wanted and at a good price!
