Swanstone VT21 3SS 010 Ellipse Contour Surface Review

First on, off you go. Replaced by a second, twisted. Swanstone says that once molded, these products cannot lose their shape. I suspect they don't realize that during delivery it can be in trucks that heat up to over 160 degrees Fahrenheit for long periods of time. I haven't installed it yet, I'm trying to smooth it out.

The product is ok as many people say it came bent and not straight. In order for it to "mate" to the vanity top, it will not match the curves of the bulkhead, so you will need to grind and fillet the mating edge. Looks good but needs a lot of work to look good. I don't think it's worth what it's worth I would say the cost of the product shouldn't be more than $25.

Swan usually has good products but the side fender for their vanity is broken. Swan told me this is not possible, the product is a thermoset and cannot bend, it can only mean it was made that way. I bought one in September and checked to make sure it wasn't broken, but it never occurred to me that it would bend. Three thumbs down to the manufacturer. I assumed the thickness would match the back panel based on my experience with other vanity tops that also required the purchase of a side panel. I was so concerned about getting the color and texture right that I didn't pay attention to how thin this piece was. It's detailed, but less than twice as thin as the bulkhead on the vanity top.
