Baby Bear's Pill Grinder? Seems just right.

This is the third mortar and pestle I bought to grind supplement pills. The first, smaller, ceramic unit required a good bit of effort, and was difficult to pour out of. The next, granite unit works well and fast, butis surprisingly hard to move around and somewhat difficult to empty completely. This one works almost as well as the granite, with a lot less strain on the wrists.

  • Does the job okay, but if I was using it a lot, I'd want a bigger mortar and pestle to grind spices.

  • it's pretty, but hard to clean and too expensive for a mortar and pestle

The right tool on my review.

The coarse stone mortar and pestle is just perfect for making guacamole. But not for grinding saffron for saffron rice. This attractive and affordable set is just right!

Easy and convenient to use.

It's easy to use and eady to clean. It's a liitle smaller than I expected it to be but I can use it to grind garlic and herbs. That's my feedback!

Disappointingly Cheap

This bowl is "nice" to look at but lacks severely in durability. Included in the packaging you will receive a note for a "free" item, this item then becomes "you buy it and we reimburse you". Customer Service does not respond and some Facebook person starts the scam of the "free" item. Better to buy marble!

Well made, sturdy and attractive

Well packaged, arrived early, Beautifuly made as well as efficient! I plan for its first use to be for crushing rose hips. interested to see how the inside reacts to the red pigment of the hips. so far it's perfect!

Perfect for its intended use!

I bought this to grind dried sage into a powder. It works great! And I don't even need to cut up the sage leaves when drying them.
