These bowls are very cute and the icing on each one is unique. They are also fairly durable shells, I don't think they will crack or break easily. When I first ordered them, one of the bowls had a piece of exposed porcelain where the glaze didn't fully cover it. This can be a problem when washing, as it is much easier for bacteria to grow than icing. So I contacted customer service to see if they could replace the bowl. They are charming and made of durable porcelain. I was very impressed with the Sweese molds I bought a few months ago. I've seen them soup jug style and really hoped they would work. I made an inquiry here as to their capacity and one respondent said they could get 1 1/4 cups to the inside top line but when they arrived I saw how small they really were and measured and this was only 1 cup.
