I washed this duvet according to the instructions before putting it on the bed. I also ordered the same blanket in a different color (lemon) and experienced the same thing. The washing machine not only had a lot of lint when I dried the comforter, but also the lint it shed (and of course there was more lint on my clothes - and also in the vents on the dryer door). ). This blanket looks like a giant gauze bandage but it's a bit coarse and even before I washed it it had lint all over it. It's not even soft or fluffy, I don't understand how it can have so much pile!
