They need to be set at the right angle or water will seep through the sides - and I think they need to be very tight too. They are very easy to set up and my daughter has never complained about the plastic on the back of her head, but she got red circles around her eyes every time she used them. I would try another brand - they are too prone to water leakage.

My son was not strict with them: he was very proud of them. Even put them back in the case every time after drying. We didn't adjust them after the first wear and the cheap plastic "collar" just fell apart. One of the small posts attaching the toggle switch to the chassis came cleanly loose.
