Swing N Slide NE 5041 Stand Up Playset Review

I only have a few months. Not even everyday swings. The metal part that connects the swing to the chain has come loose! This swing was for a 4 year old and a 7 year old. Would love to hear how to fix this!

Great idea and if it could handle 115+ lbs I would give it a try! Unfortunately we have to wait a bit until the kids are old enough to get the coordination to use it - hence the 4 stars. I tilt the floor to a vertical position to allow rain to drain in the footwell to avoid mold or standing water.

It was easy to put together and my daughter loved it, it's a good complement to other swing activities. Learning moment: First we tried it on a tire swing, but it didn't work. just enough to get the RPM up so I fitted two eyebolts and it works great. We've also tried replacing it with a swing seat (rocking chairs instead of machines) and that works well too.

Looks like it would be a fun swing if we could ever put it together. The first one we ordered was with V hangers which looked like they were used, partially rusted, wrapped in some sort of cling film and not in the correct packaging. We attempted to assemble it anyway and there was an issue with one of the threads on one of the hangers, resulting in the nut not being fully tightened. So we ordered a replacement and they sent a brand new unit and these v hangers look shiny and new but still came

I would give this swing 5 stars apart from a few things. It's outside and every time it rains, water collects in the leg supports. If not used, it will become slimy/mold over time which is a safety hazard. If it had drainage holes it would be much better and safer. Another point I think is a security risk that we built in.
