LEVER HANDLE – Durable metal punch is designed with a wide, comfortable lever handle that simplifies the punching process. A light touch is all it takes to reliably punch clean, precise holes. ADJUSTABLE PUNCHING SYSTEM – Patented punch head system comes with 3 punch heads, but can accommodate between 2 and 7. Additional punch heads (A7074865E) are sold separately. 20-SHEET CAPACITY – Punch neatly pierces as many as 20 sheets of paper, creating precise 9/32” holes. REDUCED EFFORT – Soft-touch lever requires 50% less manual force than traditional desktop punches. LESS MESS – Cleanup of punched holes is simple and easy. A removable tray in the base catches punched paper scraps. Simply empty it into a waste basket and you're good to go. Note: This product has the option to be a minimum of 2 hole punch, and a maximum of 7 hole punch. However, the product itself comes with 3 hole punch heads. Doesn't break through 40 pages; cuts are uneven and rough; difficult to make the adjustment between 2 and 3 holes.

The Swingline LightTouch Heavy Duty Punch is advertised to punch up to 40 sheets at a time. It barely punches through 30 sheets of 20-pound paper. As an official court clerk, I punch nearly 10,000 pages of court papers each month, and when my trusty electric paper punch died and after reading bad reviews about new electric paper punches, I decided to give the manual a try. I was looking forward to Being able to punch 40 sheets at once instead of 30. It is difficult to adjust between 3 holes…

Not very versatile

I bought this for a 4 hole binder I bought from Target and I didn't realize it only had 3 punches. That's all my bad! Don't repeat my mistake. BUT I didn't give 3 stars for that. Hole alignment is VERY limited. They are in no way, shape or form the same as the binding I have and there is no way of knowing until you have received the product and tried it. It's also not as easy to move the door openers as some people say, especially if you're trying to to place the door openers behind the locking

  • LESS MESS – cleaning the punched holes is simple and easy. Removable compartment on the bottom catches perforated scraps of paper. Just throw it in the trash and you're done.

Prelude: I bought this product used from Revain but needed to figure out how to unlock the mechanism to allow this contraption to punch holes. According to the Swingline website for this product, other users have said that no instructions are provided (check out one). As a used product, I understand that I have not guaranteed an instruction manual, but that makes absolutely no sense when you bought this item brand new. If you look at the three-hole design, there is an unlock and lock method…
