I bought this for a 4 hole binder I bought from Target and I didn't realize it only had 3 punches. That's all my bad! Don't repeat my mistake. BUT I didn't give 3 stars for that. Hole alignment is VERY limited. They are in no way, shape or form the same as the binding I have and there is no way of knowing until you have received the product and tried it. It's also not as easy to move the door openers as some people say, especially if you're trying to to place the door openers behind the locking mechanism on the back, and moreover, it is almost impossible to read the dimensions of the holes behind the movement. I have another hole punch that uses a pusher and takes SECONDS to set up. You don't even need a screwdriver. It's painless. It hurts to customize this product to fit your needs, and it's not even very versatile. I would say strong. Perforating paper is easy with pressure.
